The primary ministry model we use at Freedom Ministries is the Elijah House prayer ministry model.

Elijah House prayer ministry was founded through the pioneering work of John and Paula Sandford.  It is primarily pastoral in nature, based on Biblical principles, and led by the Holy Spirit. For more information on this please visit Elijah House Australia.

Freedom Ministry’s style of prayer ministry always includes looking for the root causes that lie beneath the surface of any presenting problems.  These root causes can contribute to difficult/broken relationships, patterns and cycles, sinful compulsions, and many other kinds of bad “fruit.”  Once roots are discovered, the Prayer Minister leads you in prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ.  We ask Him to bring healing to the wounded places and lead you to forgive any who might have wounded you, as well as be forgiven for any sinful responses to the original wounding.  The Prayer Minister’s role in the healing process is to facilitate what the Holy Spirit wants to accomplish in you.  There are no specific formulas, but there is a general approach trained prayer ministers have been schooled in.

We address all personal issues except those that stem from brain damage or require live-in treatment.  NOTE:  At this time, we are not taking clients diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar, and Dissociative Identity Disorder.

We offer 1 ½ – 2 hour “standard” sessions.  In each session it will just be you with two Prayer Ministers – at times the second prayer minister may be a Trainee Prayer Minister.

Each session costs $100 AUD ($75 for concession card holders) per standard session (1 ½ to 2 hours).  Payment will be required at the time of booking.

The deliverance ministry we offer at Freedom Ministries is grounded in Biblical principles and carried out through prayer in the power and authority of Jesus Christ. It is pastoral in nature, led by the Holy Spirit, and focused on helping people step into freedom from spiritual oppression.

Deliverance ministry seeks to identify and address spiritual influences that may be contributing to ongoing struggles. These can include patterns of bondage, strongholds, or areas where the enemy has gained access through sin, trauma, generational patterns, or involvement in occult or spiritual practices. These influences can often sit beneath the surface and contribute to persistent issues such as destructive cycles, compulsions, fear, and relational breakdown.

As these areas are brought into the light, the ministry team will lead you in prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ, inviting His truth, authority, and freedom into those places. This may involve repentance, renouncing past agreements, breaking spiritual ties, and exercising the authority given to believers in Christ. The role of the ministry team is to partner with the Holy Spirit and facilitate what He is doing, rather than follow a rigid formula. While there are recognised principles and approaches, each session is led prayerfully and personally.

Deliverance ministry is always done with you, not to you. You remain present, aware, and engaged throughout the process, partnering with what the Holy Spirit is doing in your life.

We address spiritual oppression and related issues as part of a broader journey of freedom and discipleship. Deliverance ministry is not a replacement for counselling or medical support where required, and we do not work with conditions that require clinical or psychiatric care.

We offer 3 hour initial sessions and 2 hour follow up sessions if required.  In each session it will just be you with two trained Deliverance Ministers – at times a Trainee Deliverance Minister may also be in session.

Intial sessions cost $250 AUD (3 hour session) with follow up sessions $170 AUD (2 hours).  Payment will be required at the time of booking.

As a nonprofit organization, Freedom Ministries is totally dependent upon the generous contributions of others. This enables us to continue to offer pastoral care to hurting hearts.  While requesting the full amount for services provided, no one is refused a regular prayer ministry because of an inability to give.  We trust The Lord for your financial needs and for the financial needs of Freedom Ministries.  Please contact us or Donate Now if you wish to give into the prayer ministry of others who can’t afford it.

The Program plays an important part in Freedom Ministries’ mandate to equip people for the ministry of restoring and transforming individuals and families; therefore, a Trainee may participate in your ministry sessions alongside your Prayer or Deliverance Ministers.  Please be assured that we always adhere to a strict policy of confidentiality, which includes the Trainees.
